The wait is officially over!

Pearl Thusi's highly-anticipated movie The Scorpion King was released on October 23.

Pearl who stars alongside the hunky Zach McGowan plays the role of a warrior princess named Tala.

Taking to Instagram Pearl could not contain her excitement over the film's release.

"It’s finally here!! I am so proud of this movie and what we achieved. Thank you to our amazing director Don Michael Paul and our entire cast and crew. What an honour."

The action-packed movie was shot on location in Cape Town earlier this year.
