Emotions ran high among mourners at Heroes Acre at the Mmabatho Cemetery on Saturday where Jabulani "HHP" Tsambo, also known as, Jabba has been laid to rest.

Jabba was taken to his final resting place after a fitting funeral service. Friends, family and fans gathered at the Mmabatho Convention Centre to pay their last respects to the star.

The Bosso hitmaker was described as "a gentle giant" who was hailed for putting motswako music on the map. Jabba was applauded for the impact he made to the Mahikeng community and for being an inspiration to young people.

Among mourners who attended the funeral service was rapper Cassper Nyovest who was one of Jabba's protégés.

One thing that has been evident throughout the service is that Jabba touched the lives of many people and that his legacy lives on through his music.

HHP took his own life on October 24 after a lengthy battle with depression.
