Donald Trump says he doesn't know who Lil Jon is... but Twitter has slips
Watching press conferences from the White House almost feels like watching South African parliament on a good day, there is never a dull moment!
You see, in the wake of the US midterm election results, Donald had a room full of journalist who asked him question after question about how well he thinks he has done as president over the last two years.
Trump was caught lying to the media again, when he was asked about his alleged racist remarks towards rapper Lil Jon who just happened to have featured on his reality show The Apprentice.
A reporter brought up the racial slurs allegations that surfaced in 2016, where it was reported by the The Daily Beast that Trump had called the rapper "Uncle Tom" even after several producers asked him to stop.
Trump's response? He was pretty much like "Sorry? Who dat? Don't know him!"
POTUS on claim that he called Lil Jon "Uncle Tom":
— CBS This Morning (@CBSThisMorning) November 7, 2018
Trump: I don't know who Lil Jon is.
Reporter: He was on 'The Apprentice.'
Trump: Oh I see.. No. I would never do that. I don't use racist remarks and you know what, if I did, you people would have known about it. pic.twitter.com/cBSbCMELCm
Twitter had slips though and they didn't hold back on proving the president wrong!
They even brought snaps of the pair together to jog Trump's memory.
