As local rapper Cassper Nyovest prepares to fill up Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban next month, his ambition has caught the attention of musicians across Africa.

Ghanaian dancehall star Shatta Wale dropped a song this week named after Cass all about inspiring to take over the continent.

Taking to Twitter, the muso showered Cass with love and said that they had similar stories.

Although the song touches on economic struggle and political commentary, the central theme is that mans looks up to Cass and wants to boss the place like him.

Here are just five fire lines from the track, which you can get as a free download here.

Bless my life and anything we are going to do... Man I'm a freedom fighter they drink up like Mandela

Shout out to Madiba

Cassper Nyovest, big up yourself. Tell them about my turf

Spread the love, dude

Nobody write my story. I will write my story like Cassper Nyovest

Take a leaf out of Cass' book.

When I make all the money. When I make all the money like Cassper Nyovest, they will understand why I say Cassper Nyovest

The haters will see.

Cassper Nyovest is a bad man Shatta-Shatta. If fire, then the man is fire. If water, then the man is water

The dude is leadership.

What do you think of the song?
