Mutodi Neshehe: It breaks my heart that kids don’t have beds but prisoners have HD TVs

Former Muvhango actor Mutodi Neshehe has shared his heartbreak at the conditions of health care and service delivery in the country, complaining that prisoners are treated better than the people the country were meant to protect.

He took to social media this week to share an image of children sharing a bed in hospital alongside a prisoner posing with a TV, bar fridge and other luxuries.

It is unclear whether the picture has been Photoshopped.

He pointed out that those being banished from society and incarcerated had more services than those who were free.

He said it was another sign that those we are supposed to care for are being neglected.

"When I tell you that no one gives a damn about you, do you believe me now? Kids don’t have beds in hospitals while prisoners have HD TVs, stereos and fridges."

He said it broke his heart to see such scenes.
