WATCH | Kelly Khumalo & Chad da Don get steamy at Feather Awards

Kelly Khumalo and rapper Chad da Don set the Feather Awards' pink carpet on fire with their steamy displays of affection on Thursday night.

And not even the Johannesburg rain could cool things down! 

The lovebirds arrived to a frenzy of cameras and journalists, who all wanted a piece of them but the pair only had eyes (and hands) for each other.

TshisaLIVE managed to steal a few moments of their time and in between giggles, forehead kisses and whisperings of inside jokes, Kelly confirmed that she and Chad are "happy" and "love" each other.

"Whuuu... nithanda izindaba but all I can say is we are very happy and we are here together and we love each other," she said.

Kelly still managed to dodge the words "dating" or "in love" but if they are acting, they did a good damn job. The consistency was on a 100 with hand holding, smooches and loving looks.

Kelly also told TshisaLIVE why the Feathers Awards meant so much to her.

"I'm celebrating ten years of the Feather awards. I've been part of the Feather awards from day one and my best friend is the founder. For me this is a movement, it's not just about glitz and glam. It is about changing people's lives as far as LGBTQ+ people are concerned. For me this means liberation, having a platform to motivate each other and opening the narrative where the LGBTQ+ community is concerned."

So what's on Kelly's Christmas wish list?

"Chad," she said in between giggles before she walked away.

Just look at that smile on Kelly's face as Chad whispered sweet nothings into her ear.
