There's no denying that Thabo Maputla is a very important part of Skeem Saam and was the last one anyone expected to die, until it happened on Tuesday's episode of the series.

Viewers were left heartbroken after one of the main characters of the popular soapie "died" after a fight with his brother's step son Noah.

If your were there from the beginning, you know that it was Thabo's storyline that got fans hooked. Remember when he stole his father's car to go to a bash and killed Ben Kunutu?

Yeah, it seems like a long time ago but Mzansi has since grown with the character played by Cornet Mamabolo.

That's why most of them were in denial about Thabo's death. Tweeps even went, as far as, to search for the script online so they could see if there's a mention of Thabo.

Look, dead characters come back all the time on these soapies so tweeps can't be blamed for hoping.
