Wallet's crazy stunts and starving pigs was the TV moment of 2018

Despite the fact that it has been Wallet's narration and poems that helped us understand what Skeem Saam is all about and how the story unfolds for the different families, Mzansi has really slept on just how talented Molefi Monaisa is. But not anymore.

More that his model c/ Oxford University type English, Molefi as Wallet has been a delight to watch.

Since the beginning of Skeem Saam , Wallet has been there occasionally, blessing Mzansi with his amazing acting skills. But it was 2018 that really brought him out of the shadows!

All year long he entertained us, but there was a moment, this (following) moment when he had us in the palm of his hands.

When we all had to figure out who will feed Wallet's pigs!

Wallet went through a lot this year, but when his life was crumbling down like an avalanche, his main worry was his pigs. That worry became our worry too.

Our fave Turfloop poet had messed everything up after life's disappointment became too much for him, but even in all that confusion, he had his pigs to think about.

The whole of SA was just thinking about who will take care of Wallet's pigs should he die or be jailed.

Instead of working, we were here making plans to go feed them pigs.

Then there was that time when his insanity's consequences caught up with him

There was a time where we thought we lost our beloved Wallet.

However, Wallet finally woke up from his mini-coma and recovered enough to be conscious.  The bad news was that he had so much damage that the dude was headed to jail.

After all the drama that followed him, such as him participating in an award ceremony, only for him not to be nominated, he's our guy.

His monologues are always FIRE!

On the edge of insanity, Wallet's character has been doing the most outrageous things in the name of reclaiming his glory days and restoring his dignity after Mr Kgomo took it from him.

Wallet's performance has kept Skeem Saam viewers on the edge of their seats and that has resulted in the show topping the trends list daily and a flood of memes in reaction to his character.

Then he pulled a Petronella and told his boss where to shove his job...

We've all fantasised about tearing up a written warning and telling your bully boss to shove it where the sun doesn't shine, right? But execution isn't as easy as daydreams, which is why when Skeem Saam's Wallet finally did it. He was literally #EmployeeGoals.

Wallet is #EmployeeGoals because:

1. He's brave enough to say what's on his mind.

2. You can't fault his poise, delivery or eloquence.

3. He knows his worth as a person and as an employee.

All employees were looking at Wallet like a hero!
