While the rest of the world stood gobsmacked by the over the top "dress suit" that Billy Porter rocked on the Oscars red carpet, South Africans were experiencing déjà vu because our very own Som Som rocked that look, like, last year already!
The US stage performer caused a traffic jam on the red carpet when he rocked up with a fabulous gown in place of a good ol' tuxedo.
He definitely had tongues wagging but here at home we were all here like "that looks familiar" *insert thinking face*
Somizi rocked a similar design when he hosted the Feather Awards in 2018. His was orange with a rose gold jacket, and he looked amazing!
And Som Som knew it too.
"Woooooo shemmmm I’m a trend blazer and setter. B***h stole my look. And he stole good. This is super amazing."
We ain't even gon' ask you who wore it better, because it don't even matter. They both looked bold and amazing!
