Cassper Nyovest is one of the celebrities who have not minced his words about the horrible things that have been happening at an increasing pace in SA and he's reasoned that we are all at this place because the spirit of ubuntu is dying.

Straight after Thiriso Themane was beaten to death, Matwetwe star Sibusiso Khwinana was stabbed to death and just as Mzansi was still reeling, a horrific video of a man believed to be Mampintsha beating up Babes Wodumo hogged headlines and trends list.

Cassper had a lot to say about the recent tragic events. He said it boiled down to the anger that many people were walking around with but didn't address.

"Too much bad shit going on. Too much violence. Too much hate. Too much evil. Too much corruption. Not enough love. Not enough building. Not enough compassion. The spirit of ubuntu is dying day by day."

Cassper also called for people not to prioritise their activism against crime and abuse only when popular figures are concerned.

The rapper asked that it be a consistent in people's everyday life to call out abusers and never enable them.

"Can we expose all of them and not just jump on this cause it trending. Many of us have witnessed this and we keep quiet. Why? The tolerance enabled men to carry on doing it."
