Papa Penny Penny may be killing it as a musician and politician but he is only quarter to opening a comedy club in Melville and starting a promising comedy career, after shining on the Comedy Central Roast of rapper AKA.

The roast, which took place live around two weeks ago, made its TV debut on Monday and had viewers at home in tears of laughter.

While Joey, Moshe and many others on the panel all drew laughs, the praise was heaped on Papa Penny for his monologue on stage.

We would love to tell you what exactly he was saying or what punchlines he was trying to deliver, but it seemed at times like Papa himself didn't even know.

But in an age where memes are everything and videos of cats playing amapiano dominate YouTube trends lists, it's easy to see why Papa Penny is comedy gold.
