While the internet worldwide went into meltdown mode on Thursday at the release of a trailer for the new Avengers movie, there was outrage at the exclusion of Black Panther star Danai Gurira's name from the official movie poster.

The poster, which was released with the trailer on Thursday, features several characters from the film, including Danai's character, Okoye. At the top of the poster is the name of all the actors shown on the poster, but beady-eyed fans noticed that Danai's name wasn't there.

Cue panic, chaos and outrage.

Fans pointed out that as one of Marvel's most successful movies so far, Black Panther should have been given more respect. While others said that Danai was the only black woman on the cover and should not have been omitted.

Marvel later acknowledged the outcry and in a tweet admitted that Danai's name should have been there all along. It also released a new poster with her name sitting up top.

But by then it was a little too late and timelines were filled with comments about the moemish.
