Gripping TV reality show Ufelani has once again left viewers shocked and worried about the state of Mzansi, with many fearful of dating again after seeing the abuse that many in relationships go through.

This week's episode featured the story of Jullies, who was allegedly abused and later shot dead by her partner, Willie.

Viewers heard how she kept the abuse from her family until, one day, Willie pulled a gun on her because she did not agree with him going out.

She locked herself in the bathroom, where she called for help.

She told her family that Willie also threatened to shoot their children.

The trauma of the incident and watching Jullies' mother break down on screen had fans of the show fighting back tears.

They took to Twitter to share their anger and sadness at the events in the episode and said it made them hesitant to date again.

Others encouraged women caught in abusive relationships to leave right away, before they paid with their lives.
