WATCH | Here's what Thando Thabethe's mom had to say about her naked movie scenes

Thando Thabethe's mom was caught off guard by the actress' naked scenes in her latest flick Love Lives Here. 

Thando stars alongside Lungile Radu in the romantic comedy, which premieres in cinemas across the country this Friday (April 5). 

The movie was filmed in Durban and follows the life story of Zinhle Malinga (played by Thando) and her quest to find her fairytale ending. 

There are several twists as Zinhle who knows exactly what she wants when it comes to love, but her ideals were tested quite a bit. 

"She is sort of set in her idea of what love is and how a woman's life is supposed to pan out. So you go to school, you get married and then you have children but in this comedy that is not quite how it works out and she finds love in a place she never imagine", Thando told eNCA in a recent interview. 

Taking to Twitter shortly after a special media screening of the film, Thando shared a short video clip of her mom talking about the film. 

Thando's mama said she was "never ready" for the naked scene, but described it as "passionate and nice".
