Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune has finally been let out of jail by the Twitter fashion police, who cut the star some slack for his latest outfit.

Itu has never been shy to share his shine on social media whenever he thought his look slayed, but the star often ended up being dragged for being more a fashion flop than fashionista.

He has been dragged for everything from wearing a "mafiosa hat" to "a cigarette box" silver suit and once again got tongues wagging on Wednesday when he posted a snap of himself in a light pink shirt and grey pants.

While there were some that still thought his fashion sense left much to be desired, many thought the combos were finally communicating for Itu.

In a week when controversial painter Rasta made social media trends lists for finally painting something that actually resembled his subject, fans started thinking that April might actually bring more surprises than just Itu and Rasta.

They took to social media to ask if the footballer's stylist had been sharing the magic  water with Rasta.

Fans couldn't let Itu go without bringing up the time he made headlines for sporting oversized jeans. And when one follower came asking about them, Itu responded with a stinging clapback.
