'Iβm glad I am alive to receive it': Sjava gives Rasta's portrait the thumbs up
but fans arenβt convinced
Musician Sjava has hit back at haters who criticised a painting of him done by controversial "funeral artist" Lebani "Rasta" Sirenje.
Sjava and Rasta were the topic of conversation on Twitter this week after a clip of the pair with the drawing started doing the rounds.
It was also posted on an account by someone pretending to be the painter.

Rasta has become known as the "funeral painter", after he appeared at several memorials to paint pictures in tribute to stars such as ProKid, HHP, Ma Winnie Madikizela-Mandela and Akhumzi Jezile.
The painting got tongues wagging as tweeps debated whether it was an accurate depiction of the Uthando hitmaker.

Sjava weighed in on the debate, telling tweeps that he didn't care how accurate it was, only that he was alive to receive it.
"I am just glad that all this happened while I am still alive and I got to take the pic home with me. Life is a blessing. Thank you Lebani Sirenje," he wrote on Twitter.
A few hours later his account went dead...
