Lady Zamar and Sjava finally confirm two-year romance, but it's apparently over

After several denials, Sjava and Lady Zamar surprised many when they officially confirmed their relationship over the weekend, but claimed that they split a month ago. 

It all began when Sjava took to Twitter to post a picture of himself looking all loved up at an event with Lady Zamar. The couple received congratulations from everyone, including DJ Black Coffee.

But it all came crashing down when Lady Zamar responded to the post by stating that their two-year relationship ended last month.

Sjava later posted another message about relationships, claiming that when a man matures he "realises that one woman is enough".

Fans may have been surprised by the "revelation" but speculation around the couple has been swirling for months.

Congratulations and rehearsal shoots

While fans were still convinced that Sjava was dating Amanda Black, speculation that he might be dating Lady Zamar surfaced in the middle of last year when he uploaded videos on social media of himself with the songstress at a rehearsal. 

Social media users also pointed out that he had congratulated her on her debut album going gold, hinting at something brewing between them.

I wish I dated Lady Zamar

After weeks of speculation on social media, sources told Move magazine that the couple were an item. 

"They have been seeing each other for a couple of months now and by the look of things, it's becoming serious, they just don't want it to come out as yet".

Sjava addressed the rumours in an interview with the magazine. 

“First of all, I wish I dated Lady Zamar. Secondly, I’m not married I don’t know where the story comes from,” said Sjava addressing the issue, according to Move. 

Phat Joe confronts Lady Zamar

In August last year Phat Joe had Lady Zamar on his Moja Love TV show, Highly Inappropriate with Phat Joe, and asked her about the romance. Sis was cagey about it, claiming they were friends but Joe thought they were more and suggested they were "kissing friends".

Break-up reports

Later in the month Sunday Sun ran a report claiming that the rumoured couple had broken up due to Sjava's "roving eye and controlling ways".

Relationships take effort

Lady Zamar took to Twitter to speak about relationships and the joy when both people stay to make it work. Fans were in no doubt that she was referring to Sjava and tagged him in the posts.
