There was a time when it was reported that Babes Wodumo and Tipcee couldn't stand each other, but the pair have clearly mended the broken fences and are now besties.

The pair are really close and Tipcee was one of the first people to be with Babes after her alleged assault at the hands of her estranged boyfriend Mampintsha earlier this year.

The pair are also facing assault charges together, after a woman accused both stars and Babes' sister Nondumiso Simelane of assaulting her after she got into an argument with one of them at a gathering at a guesthouse in the Umbilo area in KZN.

Taking to social media this week, Babes paid tribute to Tipcee and claimed that people had tried to get between them.

"People have tried to get between us but little did we know we can get this far. You are my second sister, friend and comforter."

Babes said that Tipcee called her every day to check up on her.

"Every day you call, text, WhatsApp me just check up on me and that means more than you can imagine."

She reflected on the moments after her alleged assault and said she was grateful that Tipcee had not abandoned her, like others had.

"Even after the whole drama, you were there. You even came wearing pyjamas 😂 because you always make sure I’m okay and I’m alright."

"Some people may turn their backs on me but I know you will never ever even consider that. Ngikuthanda f*cked up and, yes, we are gonna rock this world more than before."
