Halala! Chef Siba wins another international award

Local celebrity chef Siba Mtongana just keeps winning at this life thing, announcing this week that her TV reality show Siba's Table had won big at the New York Festival & Film Awards 2019.

The awards honour the best content from over 50 countries, looking at global trends and upcoming talent in animation, comedy, drama, documentary and best reality show, among others.

Siba's latest season of her show, Siba's Table: Sibalicious, was honoured with a silver medal in the entertainment culinary program category.

The show has already won five awards in the US alone. 

Siba's Table takes viewers on a journey of her life in each episode, as she recounts her childhood memories and experiences in the food industry.

Siba took to Twitter this week to share her excitement at the award.
