Ntando Duma and her sister DJ Lady Amar are beaming with pride after their mother graduated with honours.

The two stars shared images from an eventful day when their mother, Ntombikayise Zulu, collected her third belt at the University of SA, revealing she was graduating with her honours degree.

“My mom collected her honours today. This is her third belt. Please talk to her nice,” DJ Lady Amar wrote.

“You are truly living proof that beauty and brains can go together well. Congratulations for achieving the honours nkosyam mama. I am so proud of you. Thank you for being an inspiration to us all. I love you so much my graduate.”

This yet another testament that it is never too late to pursue your dreams.

Oskido, who graduated in July, has used his platform to drive that narrative through motivational videos.

The Kalawa Jazzmee record label owner and DJ spoke of the importance of investing in yourself.

“It’s never too late to be what you want to be. Go out there and make sure you follow your dreams. Once you know what you want to do, focus on it. Invest in yourself. That’s the best thing you can do.

“Even slay queens invest in themselves. They identify the big spenders and attack them. They’ve mastered the slay queen game. So whatever department or whatever God has given you, whatever you want to do, make sure you focus on it. If you make mistakes you learn. What’s key is that you invest in yourself and that interest is for life,” he said.
