Thandiswa Mazwai has shed light on a moment she shared with the late icons Nelson Mandela and Michael Jackson.
This after a video of them together at Mandela's house in the 1990s resurfaced on social media.
Thandiswa was in attendance with her kwaito group Bongo Maffin after Mandela's grandkids requested the band and Michael join them for a private family lunch in commemoration of Mandela's birthday.
While many debated what Thandiswa said during their encounter, the singer recalled the moment: "I bullied MJ the whole day. Ah my youth was not wasted on me. I said 'please touch me' because Hawu it’s a picture, why stand like we are in the military? We had a long lunch together and he was on my left while Tata was on my right at the table."

Thandiswa has revisited the event on social media many times.
In a recent sit down with DJ Sbu, she revealed she also had a conversation with Michael about what he was working on at the time.
"He had released History just before then and he was about to drop Blood on the Dance Floor."
