'Our little guy is loved already' — Lamiez Holworthy gushes over son

Lamiez Holworthy is filled with gratitude at the love her unborn son is receiving.

The DJ took to her Instagram timeline on Monday expressing her appreciation to family and friends after she recently revealed she was expecting her first child with her husband, rapper Khuli Chana.

“Going to bed with a very grateful heart- not only am I surrounded by overwhelming love and support but my son? Our son? Our little guy is loved already and if I can be just half the mother that my mom Imelda is to me, I would’ve won at this life thing,” she wrote.

Speaking recently to TshisaLIVE about motherhood, the DJ opened up about accepting Khuli's daughter, Nia, from his relationship with Asanda Maku, as her own and how she's taken her on a journey of motherhood.

“I am raising an 8-year-old from my husband's previous relationship. She is my daughter and that for me has been the biggest blessing in my life to date,” she said.

Lamiez added she was certain she would be a great mother to her biological children because of her experience.

“Because of my mom, I can say this with my head up high that I am an amazing mother because of my mom. Some day when my husband and I decide to extend our family, I will be an even greater mother.”
