Sho Madjozi has laughed off suggestions from trolls that tried to drag her for being "drunk" in a recent interview.

A clip of the Limpopo-born musician on rapper Da L.E.S' podcast Da Les & Friends went viral on social media, after the John Cena hitmaker seemed to slur her words when promoting her children’s book Sho Ma and the Stars.

Sho Madjozi, whose real name is Maya Wegerif, took to her timeline reacting to the interview.

“Da L.E.S: let’s have a nice wholesome interview over a few drinks

3 hours later: “please can you look at how cute the nose is.”

“lol never again” she wrote.

Media personality and DJ Mac G had a similar experience when interviewing Da L.E.S for Podcast and Chill.

Mac G claimed they had been drinking and the rapper was getting him “high”.

“I just want to make a public service announcement. I've been at your house for an hour [or] two hours ... n**gas getting me high, n**ga is getting my drunk. So I apologise before I start the podcast, if I'm not myself, blame this motherf**ken **s.”
