Tems is coming to SA but her concert will be on an 'invite only' basis

Nigerian star Tems will headline the Friends Of Amstel event on December 10.

The singer took to her timeline sharing the exciting news with her fans on Twitter.

“South Africa, see you soon,” she posted.

The line-up includes Scorpion Kings, DJ Zinhle, K.O, Samthing Soweto, DBN Gogo, AKA, Amaroto, Shimza, Njelic, Lerato Kganyago, Kamo Mphela and Young Stunna.

Attempts by TshisaLIVE to obtain comment from Amstel South Africa after the announcement were unsuccessful at the time of publishing this article. An update will be included once received.

On social media the news had fans going wild.

“Please stay tuned for a ticket competition to stand a chance to win,” Amstel SA posted in response on Instagram.

While details of the venue and ticket sales have not yet been shared, some fans have taken to Amstel's social pages expressing excitement — and dismay by those unable to attend.

“Can you not make tickets available through purchase? Feel this competition situation won’t work for me,” a social media user posted. 

“Tems is coming to Mzansi. Amstel is about to take it all the way to the top. Friends of Amstel,” another wrote.
