Njelic shares why he doesn’t care much for overseas gigs: they must come here

Popular Amapiano DJ Njelic has no desire to tour internationally. Bro is happy here and feels if anyone wants to hear him play, they should come to Mzansi.
In a recent interview on Jazziq and Friends Njelic spoke about Amapiano and the culture. The hit-maker said he doesn't need international gigs and wants people to start shifting their mindsets about why they need to tour internationally.
“I don’t need an overseas job, I’m not from there. If they want to see me they must come here. That’s where all these things started because we’re all going there, they are not coming here. And who are we impressing when we go that side, South Africans who went that side to work?” he said in the interview.

“Why do we need other people? When we started Amapiano there was no-one who had a vision that they wanted to go to the world. Business-wise yes, but you can’t say you know the UK, but you don't know God's Window in Mpumalanga. But you want to tell me that America is better than South Africa.”
We move on from one artist who is not bothered by international concerts to another who kicked off her first in August. The world really works differently.
Makhadzi's tour kicked off in Toronto and wrapped up in Birmingham and London in August.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Makhadzi said the opportunity to embark on a world tour has come at the right time.
“The opportunity came at the right time. I’m definitely ready and excited, to be honest. Travelling around the world has always been something that I’ve wanted to do and to be able to do what I love and travel ... is a dream for me.”
