Idols SA winner Thapelo Molomo and runner-up Nozi Sibiya gave their fans another show-stopping performance at this year's 15th edition of the Crown Gospel Music Awards.

The two stars shared the stage at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre  in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, on Sunday, November 27.

Thapelo shared images from their performance hinting at another duet on the cards.

“I enjoy being on stage with this sis of mine Nozi. To more duets coming. #CrownGospelAwards.”

In 2019, Thapelo Molomoco founded the Tembisa Gospel Group with his friend Thulani Ndhlovu. After winning the Idols SA competition he still plans to pursue a career in gospel.

“I've always been part of the gospel choir that I cofounded with Thulani, they are a family to me, they have been supportive. I cannot leave them for the sake of me winning Idols. I still remain with people that have been supportive towards me because those are the people who, where you go through a lot, they always turn back and support you.”

Though Nozi may not have taken the crown, she told TshisaLIVE she is here to stay after signing to Kalawa Jazmee.

“I feel good, I am so happy that Thapelo won. We always said his win is my win ... he deserves it. We give God the Glory. It's all timing. Everything works together for those who wait and believe in God.” she said.

The singer said she plans to pursue any genre that's soulful.

“I'm so happy I got this far. I am not going anywhere. People will be seeing more of my face and hearing my music. I want to do any genre that speaks to the soul. I don't want to be picky ... I'm just a soulful person and I speak to people in that manner.”
