Cassper Nyovest is waiting with anticipation for 2023 when he’s expected to get into the ring with rapper, Big Zulu.

Since winning his bout against Priddy Ugly on October 1, Cassper has been trying to find himself the next best opponent.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, the Pardon My Arrogance hit maker admitted that Priddy Ugly's good shape and confidence during his training sessions had intimidated him but knew his weight was an advantage.

“As much as I was 20kg heavier than him, It also worked against me because I’m slower than him and he was definitely fitter than me. I had to lose 17kg because of the contract, so it was harder for me to train.

“I think the weight thing was a bit unfair, so I'd like to see him fight someone his size as far as weight [is concerned]. I think he’d make a great fighter, he's very athletic. I respect him for that,” he said.

While Priddy Ugly's physique had made the rapper nervous, he says Big Zulu's big stature makes him want to step into the ring even more.

“Every day I think about it. It's a challenging fight but it's time I challenged myself. I think fighting guys that are my size will look rigged, so I want to take on someone who is big and people are scared of ... but I’m going to knock him out.”

The date for a bout with Big Zulu is yet to be announced.
