Reality TV star and polygamist Musa Mseleku and MaKhumalo had their lavish Umembeso ceremony and shared snaps of their special day.

An Umembeso is a Zulu traditional ceremony which involves the giving of gifts, including blankets, headscarves, clothes, food and straw mats to a bride's family.

Taking to their social media pages, the Mselekus shared snaps of the ceremony.

Musa thanked his new wife for joining his polygamous marriage.

“When you took a decision to join the Mselekus at the age of 18 our ancestors were smiling. Thank you, Mzilikazi. Thank you to MaNgwabe for your unconditional support and thank you to Indlunkulu MaCele and MaYeni for allowing her to join the family as a sister wife. We will be forever indebted to you,” he wrote.

Taking to her Instagram timeline, MaKhumalo thanked the people who made the ceremony possible.

“A huge thank you to my lovely daughter for making my day extra special. Thank you Mpiloenhle for loving me unconditionally, the hard work you did towards achieving this day, anginamazwi mtanam. Thank you for having my back mafungwase, I love you, ” she wrote.

MaCele and MaYeni set tongues wagging when they declined to attend MaKhumalo's Umembeso ceremony.

“Thank you for the invite. Unfortunately, I will not be able to make it because the event includes Musa Mseleku. If the event didn't include Musa Mseleku, I would attend it. I'm not going because I'm done with wedding events,” MaCele said.

“I won't be able to come. The reason for that is not because I don't want to support you, as you always do when we do events for Mseleku. But my understanding is that the person who is having the Umembeso is you. If you're being gifted, it's your event, not mine,” MaYeni said.
