Lee-Anne “Gogo Maweni” Mokopo says she's not looking to force her baby daddy, actor SK Khoza to provide for their child.

This after ZiMoja reported that the popular sangoma had planned to consult a lawyer on Monday as SK had allegedly been failing to pay maintenance regardless of the gigs he'd been getting on screen.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Maweni said she was not looking to put up a fight.

“I'm trying to stay from trouble... If he has to pay child maintenance then he should, but I'm not going to force him because he hasn't been,” she said.

Attempts by TshisaLIVE for comment from SK Khoza were unsuccessful at the time of publishing. An update will be included once received.

Maweni is a mother of three — she has a child from her previous relationship with an unidentified American man, a child with SK and another with former soccer star Siyabonga Zulu.

Previously speaking to TshisaLIVE, Maweni said despite the controversy attached to her name at times, she believes her story is worth telling because her ancestors not only saved the life of her firstborn son but also healed her from past relationships that were laced with drug addiction, abortion and false promises.

“They [ancestors] took me out of a lot ... I know how much I get out of it, they saved me. They saved me through 'that' relationship, they've saved me through the next relationship and I'm here now, I'm here to make a noise,” she said.

She has her husband Sabelo Magube to lean on when she faces a backlash on social media and is a good father figure for her children.

“He's loving, he's caring and I thank God that he stepped in when I am raising sons ... he's very respectful... My husband will bend over backwards and frontwards to make sure that I'm OK as much as I would do that for him ... I had to kiss frogs to find him.”
