Baby Cele has revealed she and her husband, businessman Thabo Maloka, called it quits two years ago.

In an interview on Engineer Your Life, the actress got candid, saying though she was happy in her marriage she received signs that showed they were better off separated and their divorce was not due to fights or infidelity.

Baby said while she has been divorced three times, she has learnt to understand it's better to let go of a marriage if it is no longer working.

“I'm not married any more. I got divorced two years ago and people don't know.

“As a sangoma, my ancestors gave me the signs that it was time to end the marriage. I was happy but the signs were too loud and I had to make the decision. Now I am single and mingling and I am happy.

“I have mastered divorce, it doesn’t hurt any more because I believe if a marriage no longer works it should end.”

While finding love is one the most beautiful things a person can encounter, falling out of love is just as natural, but there are celebrities who choose not to make the information public.

Actress Amanda du-Pont recently finalised her divorce from Shawn Rodriques after almost three years — news the two stars kept quiet.

The split of former celebrity couple, media personality Mpho Maboi and soccer star Reneilwe Letsholonyane, was also kept quiet until Mpho addressed trolls who questioned why she reverted to using her maiden name on social media.

Mpho seemingly confirmed rumours of her divorce, saying: “Oh and trying to shame me for being divorced doesn’t work on me. TTY another 'insult'. I’ve heard it all at this point.”
