‘Thank you God’: Denise Zimba is filled with gratitude for her life

Media personality Denise Zimba is filled with gratitude when she reflects on her life that she says is filled with blessings.

Taking to her Twitter timeline, the How To Ruin Christmas star listed the things that are going well for her and she thanked God for it.

“I get to work whenever I feel, without the pressure of needing to. My child speaks three languages, and has two passports. I’m learning a new language, I travel a lot. My husband cooks amazing food, and gifts me with so much time & love. My in-laws are the kindest people. Thank you God,” she wrote. 

Denise and her hubby Jakob Schlichtig tied the knot in a dream wedding on April 9 at picturesque Blaauwklippen, one of the oldest wine farms in Stellenbosch. 

Denise's wedding was star-studded with Lorna Maseko, K Naomi, her Wedding Basher co-star Zola Nene, actress  Sihle Ndaba  and Lesego Thlabi in attendance.

Taking to her Instagram Denise gushed over her husband. 

“Jakob, myn man! You are brave to take me on buddy! And because of that, I knew, I couldn’t possibly lose the opportunity the universe has gifted me, with your soul. I love you so much. My protector, my soul keeper, my voice of reason, my reason to live a fulfilled life. Leah and I couldn’t have asked for a more powerful being like yourself. We chose you, and thank you for opening your heart to us. You are our pillar, and I can say from the both of us, we are strong and grounded in your existence.”

The couple welcomed their daughter Leah in 2019 and have relocated abroad.
