‘Please don’t expect anything over here’ — Lerato Kganyago says she's 'sitting out' Valentine’s Day Olympics

Media personality Lerato Kganyago, usually the 'mood setter' for Valentine's Day in Mzansi, is seemingly giving the day's festivities a miss this year. 

Taking to her Twitter timeline the Metro FM presenter was replying to a follower who reminded her that Valentine's was around the corner. 

“It should remain in that corner. Re busy ra bereka,” she replied to the tweet.

In her mentions, one follower said the DJ was gauging the expectation for this year's day. 

“I see what you're doing you're checking how humongous is the pressure for this year. It's on girl, we're looking forward to see this year's standard. Wena you're the queen of valentine,” wrote one tweep.

“I’m being very honest, please don’t expect anything over here. Carry on with your lives lol,” she replied back.

For the past two years the businesswoman's Valentine's gifts have raised the bar so naturally tweeps can't wait to see what's coming in a couple of weeks and if Lerato and her husband will top things. 

The media personality last year revealed her husband assisted her in renovating a mansion she turned into a five-star boutique hotel, called 12 on Hillel Villa and Spa.

The hotel has a restaurant called Amour (French for love, which is a direct translation of Lerato).

“Some of you might have seen what it looked like before, a few months ago when I posted it on my Insta' stories. I can’t wait for you to see the final product. He said: 'Stop stressing Hold my Taelo umfazi wam (my wife), let me show you something,'” she wrote.

On Valentine's Day in 2021, Lerato found her name at the top of Mzansi's trends list after her hubby booked out the entire FNB stadium and songstress Zonke serenaded hem while the couple enjoyed a candlelit dinner.
