Lawrence Maleka pens note to his fans after his exit on The River

Lawrence Maleka has bid 1 Magic's The River farewell. 

The actor played the role of Zolani Dlamini, Lindiwe’s adopted son known for his arrogance and charm.

Reflecting on his time spent on the telenovela, Lawrence took to his Instagram timeline sharing snippets of his scenes on the drama series expressing his gratitude to his fans. 

"To the fans, those who gave me confidence to stick with it, those who encouraged my perfect blend of self delusion and ego to think I can succeed where others have failed, those who vote, like, retweet and pray for me, I thank you," he wrote.

"With this character many of you saw people you know, loved ones, siblings and friends, fond and painful memories; you celebrate me because I am of you!I love you all."
