Here are your top picks for the 6th annual Royalty Soapie awards

The Royalty Soapie Awards are back and taking place on March 11.

The nominees are actors, creatives and behind-the-scenes staff.

In a statement shared with TshisaLIVE, the Royalty Soapie Awards said they "celebrate the hard work creatives put into producing the excellent work we interact with on our screens".

“We are proud to celebrate the diverse calibre of nominations from across the country. The Royalty Soapie Awards to make the cast and crew feel their work is noticed and valued. It shows approval of and gratitude for each person's good job, and it makes people aware good work will be rewarded.

"The sixth-year milestone has been a fantastic journey of seeing a dream coming to fruition. As an actress, I saw a need to create a platform where we celebrate the hard work of individuals and productions behind the soapie industry and the success it enjoys in the television industry," said Winnie Ntshaba, founder and CEO of the awards.
