Lebani “Rasta” Sirenje has finally given Shauwn Mkhize the portrait he painted of her and her son Royal AM chair Andile Mpisane.

He has been working on this portrait since 2021 and shared previews of his progress on social platforms.

Rasta took to his Instagram timeline recently and shared the snap of him posing with the wealthy businesswoman holding the portrait.

“Royal AM what a good match on a rainy day Chatsworth Stadium In Durban..Her and supporters received it. Siyabonga Mam Shawn Mkhize for your love,” he wrote.

In his mentions his followers commented on the portrait.

“Hay Rasta now we have to research who these people are,” commented one.

“Ai Rasta is not make sure,” added another.

Despite the social media backlash Rasta has received from some tweeps, the father of two told TshisaLIVE his daughters Angelic and Angel are his biggest motivation to keep painting.

“They are the reason that I'm pushing like this, because, perhaps, without them I'd probably be someone else. They are the ones that comfort me when people criticise me.”

Earlier in January Royal AM lost a match and MamMkhize thought fans had blamed her.

“Yesterday, was a tough day on the field and like everyone, I’m also human,” she posted on her Instagram timeline.

“I’m not immune to loss. I don’t always get what I want, as some may think. I know how disheartening and painful it is to want something so badly and still fail at the chance to get it. The songs chanted at the stadium are not about the team's loss but about beating ‘MaMkhize’. It’s about breaking my spirit, but I won’t let that happen. I’m a warrior and all I know to do is fight.”
