Sithelo Shozi is in a good space in her life and gearing up to reveal big news to her fans soon.
The socialite and DJ is a mother of three children — her firstborn son from her previous relationship with Makhosini Maseko, aka Lord Phil, and her two daughters with Royal AM chairperson Andile Mpisane, now married to Tamia Mpisane.
Amid her legal battle with Andile and his family, Sithelo decided to deactivate her Instagram account in January.
In court papers TshisaLIVE has seen, Sithelo claims she has not been allowed to visit her child since she was taken from her in March last year.
“Her child was abducted as defined by law, not by personal opinions. Further clarification of the abduction will be done in a court of law and not on social media and other platforms,” Tony Mathe from Marweshe Attorneys told TshisaLIVE.
Speaking to Sunday Times, the legal representative for Andile and MaMkhize, Ntsako Godi, denied they had abducted the child and said they would oppose Sithelo’s application.
Her silence on social media has had social media users speculating that Sithelo could be going through a rough patch but she's since damned the claims in an emotional interview on Gagasi FM, saying she was unbothered by the trolls on social media.
“This is the nature of the business, I'm not expecting it to end, I'm expecting it to continue. I am a force and the minute people stop talking, I'm no longer that force. I am very newsworthy, very controversial ... so it is what it is. I chose to be here,” she said.
Sithelo says she's had time to focus on the important things and will make a comeback soon in a “big show” in March.
She said she wanted to be remembered as a person who lives her life boldly and fearlessly.
“Right now I'm going through a very special time in my life. I'm more awakened spiritually, it's got nothing to do with anything ... When I wake up, I pray, then the gym has helped ease my thoughts ... it's given me more time to focus on myself and my relationship with God, friends and kids. It's really made me go back to what's really important ... I'm the happiest I've been ... March will be back announcing news of her being on a big show.”
