DJ Doowap, real name Khetsiwe Morgan, is officially off the market.
Congratulatory messages have flooded the DJ's timeline after she revealed she tied the knot with her longtime partner Hakim Malema.
The newlyweds took to their social pages on Thursday to share images from their white, purple, and turquoise themed wedding day.
“We did it our way and it was the most beautiful ceremony I could have ever asked for.” Doowap wrote.
Reflecting on the occasion, Hakim recalled how he was emotional throughout the ceremony and how he was happy he and his wife chose to celebrate their union their way.
“I’m so happy we got to do this our way. My new nickname is Sob Story, not because I’m miserable but because I literally couldn’t stop crying tears of joy. Nicole Morgan said she waited eight years to see me cry but it was totally worth it. I’m glad you all found this amusing. I’m so happy for everyone who attended.”
In another post, Hakim expressed his gratitude to their guests for sharing the special day with them.
“Thank you to everyone who shared in this moment. You could have been anywhere but you were with us.”
