Ntobeko “Sishii” Sishi has launched his music career.
The actor, popularly known for his stint on Mzansi magic's Gomora (which is in its final season), has released his first single, I Don't Dance, which has had producers such as Anatii co-signing his talent.
“You don’t need to be good to dance”, Sishii said in a statement shared with TshisaLIVE.
“Sometimes you happen to find yourself in a situation, the vibe is right, the company is right, and all of a sudden you become someone who can dance.”
The former Hectic Nine-9 presenter, who is also a UCT BCom economics and finance graduate, said being an actor had given him a platform to cater to a broader audience.
“I’m grateful for the character of Ntokozo. Through Ntokozo I was able to engage in the journey of finding a home, finding a place to belong and navigate the trepidation of an unpredictable world,” he said.
Sishii is showing his other side as an R&B artist, sharing memorable melodies and honest narratives. According to his biography, he is looking to cement himself among the greats.
“I’m excited for a new journey and giving my all to a different side of myself that I can’t wait to nurture more and share with the world.”
