‘The album is perfect’ — Cassper Nyovest dishes deets on his upcoming offering

Cassper Nyovest has been dropping hints of a new album since early March and it seems it is finally done. 

Taking to his Twitter timeline, Cassper said it’s one for the books. 

“This album is perfect. I might not drop a single. I might just drop the whole project so it’s received in context. I don’t want any confusion so the song that is dropping before the album isn’t a single. It’s a campaign. It’s a dope song but it’s not the sound of the album.”

In a separate tweet he explained to a tweep who had asked about genres, saying he didn't dabble in any other genre. 

“No piano on the album at all. My last piano verse I did was a song called Hokoto by Hbk live act. The song killing it on the streets. After that, I locked in and I made my best hip hop album at 32 years old.”

He had previously said the body of work would be a “masterpiece”

“I been in the studio messing around. Don’t know how long it’ll take but I want to create a masterpiece. I owe to myself,” he tweeted.

Earlier this year Cassper said he had moved on from proving himself to anyone after a tweep asked him to come back to the rap game.

“Nah, I’ve done my thing. If there’s guys who still don’t rate me, it’s on them. No more points to prove. Raps, music, hits, money, business, whatever man. I’m that dude FR overall. Those who don’t see it yet will never ever see it and that’s OK. Next chapter,” he wrote.
