Babes Wodumo is still picking up the pieces after the death of her husband, Mampintsha.

Big Nuz member Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo died on December 24 after a minor stroke.

In a recent Facebook live video, Babes revealed season three of their reality show Uthando Lodumo was meant to showcase their white wedding but now shows Mampintsha's funeral instead.

“We were separated by death,” she said.

“God took away what I loved the most.”

Babes said she had lost a number of her friends since Mampintsha's death and hadn't seen some of her late husbands friends since the funeral.

“I last saw all of Mampintsha's friends at his funeral. There's not even one person.”

When speaking about getting back into the dating pool in future, Babes jokingly spoke of her preference.

“Should I ever decide to date again, I think I prefer to be with a white man, somebody who does not like to talk too much.”

She's now focusing on the rollout of Mampintsha's Original Shandis Gin, and releasing music.

“After Mampintsha's death I was trying to get back on my feet. I'm trying to understand everything but I will be launching everything in due time.”

Mampintsha died on December 24 from complications after a stroke.

Babes Wodumo has urged her fans to vote for Big Nuz's Ngeke which has been nominated in several categories of the Metro FM Awards.

The clock is ticking and it's exactly two weeks before the 17th edition of the Metro FM Awards kick off after a lengthy hiatus.

The musician went live on Mampintsha's Facebook account and shared what the nomination would've meant for her late husband.

Siya vota. Please vote for Big Nuz. Please make sure you vote for Big Nuz. So guys please do me a favour and vote. I will dance. They've been nominated in the best duo, best kwaito/gqom and song of the year. Please do this for my husband if he were here he would've been happy,” she said.
