Warren Masemola exits ‘House of Zwide’: Here’s what will happen to his character

It's the end of the road for Warren Masemola's character on House of Zwide. 

The multi-award winner joined the cast of House of Zwide back in September 2022 and played Alex Khadzi, Funani Zwide’s (Vusi Kunene) biggest rival.

e.tv recently shared the plot of how the character will meet his fate. 

One night, while Nkosi and Faith are in the middle of a heated argument, Alex shows up with a gun to kill Funani. An almighty tussle ensues, and it ends with Nkosi having to shoot Alex to protect his father. 

Warren made his debut on September 19 and his character was described as someone who was going to shake things up. 

“Alex is a high-flyer, and his biggest achievements include featuring in Forbes’ ‘30 under 30’ as well as winning the coveted LVMH Prize for young designers. But don’t let the charm and bright outfits fool you, Alex has a heart of darkness,” said e.tv.

Speaking to Drum he shared his excitement at playing the character who was fashion forward.

“I’m beyond excited to be a part of telling our story about the fashion that makes the world look up to us as Africa. Alex Khadzi’s approach around the latest street wear fashion makes it an enjoyable challenge and it’s been a beautiful journey so far,” he says.

“I hope they enjoy the journey with me as I tried to represent the creative passion in the youth and how futuristic it is; especially in fashion and textiles, social life, modelling, music and technology.”
