Thuli Phongolo has made it clear she has no time to entertain disrespect, especially when it comes to her personal life choices.

The actress and DJ went live on Instagram recently to catch up with her fans and after she was provoked by social media users making snarky comments during her session, she spoke of how she conducts herself as a brand.

“People are so disrespectful forgetting we can also become disrespectful ... just because we choose not to be disrespectful doesn't mean we don't know how to do so. It just means we know how to treat people well, you think before you say things, you treat people with consideration ...

“Being disrespectful to me doesn't say anything about me, it says a lot about you because you are the person that finds it easy to disrespect yourself. It makes me think how much more in a negative light you view yourself. I don't go around being disrespectful to people ... my first intention in everything that I do is to portray myself with grace.”

Thuli has had tongues wagging after her assault case with her beau Maphorisa came to light. However since releasing a joint statement with the DJ saying they want to deal with the matter privately, she has avoided addressing the case.

When a social media user asked her about her current state and whether she was at peace, the media personality responded by saying: “I am definitely at peace.”
