Thokozani Sphamandla, popularly known as L'vovo Derrango, has shot up the Twitter trends lists after being announced as one of the artists to perform at Cotton Fest Durban.
The highly-anticipated music and lifestyle festival, set to take place on July 2 at Kings Park Stadium outer fields, will see established and young emerging talents perform live on two energy-packed stages.
L'vovo is among the 60 artists in the festival line-up. However, the news was not well-received on social media, with many questioning what music he will be performing.

“I hear I've been trending for days on social media. It means you guys want to see me and I will not disappoint you. I will be at Cotton Fest on July 2.”

The musician was taken to hospital after suffering a stroke just before Christmas and has been easing back into work.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE previously, L'vovo said he hoped 2023 would be a better year for him as he gears to release new music.
“I am busy with my EP. I'm not here to play. This year I am here to make noise. I am here and I am not going anywhere. I'm OK. I will be dropping a lot of music to celebrate my friend Mampintsha. I was not able to go to his funeral, but my heart was there.”
