'Siyabonga kakhulu' — Big Zulu reflects on Inkabi Zezwe concert success

Newly-formed Inkabi Zezwe duo Sjava and Big Zulu performed in a sold-out show on Saturday at Sun Bet Arena, Pretoria. 

The musicians headed to their socials to share their gratitude, with Big Zulu saying he has run out of words to express his gratitude and the amount of love they received on the night.

Their comment sections were immediately filled with those who shared how they enjoyed the show.

“What a beautiful show, you guys made sure we danced most of the evening. All the best for the rest of the tour. PS: please come back soon, Pretoria already misses you,” said one.

“Pretoria we rocked! The legends were great. They didn't want to go kahle kahle,” commented another.

The duo kicked off the tour in Pretoria. Coming up is a performance at the Grand West Casino, Cape Town, on July 29, Big Top Arena, Carnival City, on August 26 and HollywoodBets Kings Park Stadium on September 3.

In April the duo announced they would be touring the country.

They released their first single, Umbayimbayi, which has reached double platinum.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE previously, the duo explained how their collaboration came about.

“Maturity and respecting each other, more than anything, was key in this collaboration. I'm glad this is happening now because it is the Right time, we have grown and seen a lot. Apart from what's happening now, we have had ideas to work on something,” said Big Zulu.
