Just weeks after announcing a musical comeback, Boity Thulo has already been co-signed by some of Mzansi's top rappers.

Boity recently shared a video of her spitting bars on K.O's hit song Rockabye featuring Toss.

The BET-nominated rapper reshared the video of Boity rapping on his song, suggesting he was impressed with her version.

“Queen Boity blessed the Rockabye beat with some fire,” he wrote.

In response to the post, Boity wrote: “I'm happy you approve.”

In 2018, Boity made her debut in the music industry by releasing Wuz Dat featuring Nasty C, and released her first EP 4436 in 2020.

After a long hiatus, Boity announced her musical comeback last month when she shared a short clip of her doing a freestyle.

“I just needed to get my things in order. There’s a lot that goes into the music business, and I felt it was important to make sure everything was tight and that we were doing things the right way. I feel like I’ve got the right team and the right energy around me to return now.

“We haven’t put a timeline to it yet but I’m working really hard to make sure I have some great new music to share with my fans soon. I’ve been working with some really talented artists and producers such as Emtee, Profound and Christer, and we’re all looking forward to sharing some of the jams we’ve been cooking,” she said.

Boity said mixed reactions to her rap videos were an encouragement for her to release new music.

“It’s been so overwhelming. Last time I checked, my last freestyle on AKA’s Mbuzi was sitting on over a million views on both Instagram and Twitter. That’s crazy. It’s giving me even more desire to push and make sure we get as much music ready as soon as possible because the appetite is really high.”
