e.tv's The Morning Show is on a mission to grant Musa Motha's three wishes — to drive an Audi, fly in a helicopter and play a role in an action movie.
After the channel's team travelled to London to congratulate the South African amputee dancer for flying the South African flag high in Britain’s Got Talent in June, Audi handed him an A3.
“I've always wanted to drive an Audi. I've imagined myself in the car from a young age, playing video games I've used the car,” he told TshisaLIVE.
Musa, who hails from Sebokeng in Gauteng, moved to the UK in February 2022 to join a dance company. Now back in South Africa during the summer holidays, executive producer Yusuf Stevens, also a qualified pilot, told TshisaLIVE he plans to fulfil Musa's dreams, especially because he's been showing initiative.
“I resonated with him and felt he is a remarkable being. None of these things he asked for, he just mentioned them when we travelled to see him. It happens to be things I can help with. I connected with him and if we can help him with something like this then why not?”
As he's set to make his acting debut, Musa said he has been taking acting and combat classes to prepare him for a role in a South African action movie.
“I'm going into movies. I am doing short courses and combat classes learning stunts. I am also going to do short films while I am in the UK.”
Speaking about navigating his newfound fame as an Emerging Artist Award recipient, Musa said he was filled with gratitude to see his dreams come true.
“This is a dream I have always wanted to live and it's happening now, sooner than I thought. I am still trying to find my way about it. It's a bit difficult because I am a humble person.
“I'm trying to be as humble as I can in every way for my people without changing personality. Things have changed, my life has changed.”
