Coming from a lineage of people who were at the forefront of spreading the gospel, Thabo “Tbo Touch” Molefe is determined to continue the legacy by pursuing ministry.
He is set to host the second instalment of the Replenishment Concert in September at Supersport Park in Centurion, Pretoria, an event he's dubbed as the Coachella of gospel as it is dedicated to praise and worship.
“I would have gone into ministry a long time ago. I knew I was going to have my church before I turned 40, but I told God I need him to use me differently. I need to be result-driven and demonstrate what I know,” he told TshisaLIVE
With a line-up that boasts chart-topping gospel heavyweights including Ayanda Ntanzi, Betusile Mcinga, Dumi Mkokstad, and Hlengiwe Mhlaba among others, the concert themed Embracing Faith, Unity, and Divine Inspiration is more than an entertainment spectacle.
Tbo Touch, who will host the concert alongside singer Mmatema Gavu, exclusively revealed prophets Lovy Elias and Passion Java will be present at the event. American gospel figure Bishop Noel Jones will uplift and inspire transformative change.
Gauteng premier Panyaza Lesufi will open the concert and Queen Ntokozo Mayisela has accepted an invitation to attend the star-studded event.
“Church has become a place of crucifixion instead of a place of restoration. It's the love of God that will help you establish the principles of a Christ-like life. I want the lady who was on the pole the night before to come with her short skirt and receive Christ. I want the father who was pushing dope the night before. Everyone is welcome. Replenishment is a movement born out of gratitude.”
Whether it be on radio, MCing or in business the media mogul has been engulfed in ministry.
“I never realised that the gift of salvation is deeply rooted in me to such an extent that I started to make my whole DNA of radio or anything of publication. I'll never shy away from the parameters of grace. This is something I was born into. I need to share the love of God.”
