Singer Brenda Mtambo is getting ready to give her fans a show they'll never forget when she celebrates their constant, decade-long support for her solo career.
The songstress shared how she didn't believe she'd make a decade in the industry and how, having survived, she feels compelled to celebrate herself and those who carried her.
“It is very important to celebrate 10 years as a solo, independent artist. Because it is not easy what we do. Doing what we do requires a lot from us and I've learnt it is important to celebrate yourself sometimes,” Brenda said in a video posted on Instagram.

The singer has often thanked the people who have held her hand on her mental health journey.
She urged her followers to speak up when they are going through something.
“To everyone suffering from any form of mental illness, I want you to know you are not alone. Don’t be ashamed to speak up. The enemy wants you to keep quiet and suffer alone, don’t allow it. Find yourself people you can trust who won’t judge but support you. Thank you to everyone who has held my hand,” she wrote.
Brenda opened up about her journey to healing.
“This is an introduction to my healing process from the pain I have endured in the past, This is me getting up and not allowing it to consume me like it has,” she said.
