Apart from hosting events they recently released their eponymous debut single together after thinking about how to make their son's third birthday special.

Tino has now released his first EP dedicated to his son under the moniker Tiyane Afrika.

“The EP is named after Tiyane. For me everything I do right now is for him. I pray that boy realises how much he's been blessed to have parents like us, and I want that legacy to speak true when he comes of age. Family will always be a priority to me,” he told TshisaLIVE.

His career has seen him transition from modelling and TV to becoming a fully-fledged media personality. Since then he's ventured into the fashion space, which sees him making statements through his fashion.

“I want to tell the stories of all those journeys, the highs and the lows, the love and love lost, and everything in between.”

While Tino is working on his EP, Simz has been working on her upcoming singles as Quing Simz.

It's really nice to have someone who is just as passionate, just as driven, just as hungry, someone who shares your vision. We put our heads [together] for photoshoots, music, events or anything,” Tino said.

“We are enjoying this time of being in music and creating,” Simz said.

They've been together for nearly four years, dating on and off, but are now inseparable.

For Simz, after losing her husband Dumi Masilela to a hijacking in 2017, she never thought she could love again.

“The way things happened between Tino and I wasn't planned. I think God knew because things happened differently. This was supposed to be a fling and look at us now. God knew that after what I experienced, I'd be afraid to fall in love, I'd be afraid to open my heart again.

“For us, it's about spreading love. Letting the public know there are healthy relationships, healthy families. Because we live in a society that is always toxic, we need love and to show black love even more,” said Simz.
