Inkabi Records’ first lady Lwah Ndlunkulu is beaming with pride after her songs Ithuba and Ngiyeza both reached 5-million streams on YouTube.

On Thursday the afro pop singer's team handed over her platinum plaques and celebrated her achievement.

“I'm very happy, I'm out of words. This means a lot to me because when I started singing I wanted to touch people's hearts with my music so this makes me very happy,” she told TshisaLIVE.

Lwah spoke about how her life has changed since acquiring fame.

“I've been able to buy myself a car and provide for my family. Things are not the same as they were in the beginning. I am living my dream, it's overwhelming. I don't want to change the way I am and the way people see me. I just want to be at peace and do music.”

Rapper Big Zulu was among the artists under her record label who took to their timelines to congratulate her on her success.

“We are all a family at Inkabi Nation no matter what we do. Every artist is treated equally and they help with anything and everything. We are brothers and sisters and we support each other.”

She has now released a new single titled Eyami, produced by label mate Xowla.

The song is already trending on TikTok with a shared clip that has already generated more than 46K posts and 162,3K views on the original video shared.

She is now working on her highly anticipated album which she hopes will be released before the end of the year.

“My fans have been asking for an album, I've been working on it and I pray we'll be able to release it before the end of this year or in January.”
